Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years in QA or technical roles, with at least a year in a leadership position managing remote teams.
- Industry experience in E-commerce, FinTech, or subscription-based environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter/JUnit), release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Current hands-on experience with unit testing and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Odoo), CRM, Rest APIs, AWS, Jira, and Confluence.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Proven ability to enforce and advocate for quality processes across the organization.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in QA practices.
- Oversee all QA activities, including manual and automated testing, ensuring seamless product lifecycles.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce quality processes to align with organizational and industry standards.
- Identify and address gaps in existing QA workflows, driving initiatives for automation and process improvement.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of applications across all environments.
- Own the release management lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across multiple environments.
- Develop and manage reporting metrics, risk assessments, and rollback strategies.
- Monitor releases for compliance with industry standards, data security, and system reliability.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth and aligned deployments.
- Manage a distributed team of QA engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Establish and promote best practices for collaboration and team evaluation in a remote working environment.
- Serve as the escalation point for QA and release-related issues, ensuring timely resolutions
