ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with 5 + years of experience, having strong attention to details, and Product/Software Quality Assurance skills throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. This is a senior level position requiring the incumbent to have leadership qualities and comprehensive understanding all stages of software testing from test planning to test closure, warranting a high-class end product for the consumer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand/evaluate business goals/requirements, identify conflict/missing requirements, estimate efforts for test cases documentation and quality assurance.
• Participate in product and/or application definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs with Business Analysts and Development teams to produce quality products.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Identify, document and track bugs and defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Mantis etc.)
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and business analysts to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test coverage.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks (Selenium and Cypress, etc.)
• Assist and guide junior Quality Assurance Engineers of the team and serve as mentor for them.
• Extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Leading the QA team in designing and improving QA test procedures.
• Helping QA Manager in smooth running of the QA department and ultimately user satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors in IT/Computer Science from a well-reputed institution
• 5 years plus professional experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
• Hands on experience in software testing and automation tools like Selenium/ Cypress etc.
• Must be well-oriented in the whole range of processes and have a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and process Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Solid understanding of API testing, database validation and CI/CD pipelines
