Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Executive to lead and manage diverse research projects. This role combines expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies with a strong focus on social and impact research. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, executing, and delivering impactful research that provides actionable insights into societal dynamics, behaviours, and trends. As a Senior Research Executive at GRT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our projects and driving value for our clients and stakeholders through high-quality research.


Key Responsibilities
  • Research Design & Methodology: Develop and oversee tailored research methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative studies across commercial and non-commercial sectors addressing the specific needs of each project and client
  • Social Research Expertise: Lead studies focused on social behaviours, attitudes, and trends, including community research, ethnographic studies, and social media analysis.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Manage primary and secondary data collection processes, such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Ensure accurate analysis and adherence to best practices in research integrity and data quality
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of research projects—from initial design and client briefings to execution and final delivery—ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes within scope.
  • Client Collaboration: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their objectives. Provide regular updates and actionable insights throughout the research process, ensuring their goals are met effectively.
  • Reporting & Presentations: Create and present comprehensive reports and recommendations tailored to the audience, delivering clear and concise insights that drive decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including data analysts, junior researchers, and project managers, to conduct research efficiently and effectively.
  • Social Research Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about emerging trends, methodologies, tools, and technologies in social and market research to enhance our offerings.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and research partners, ensuring alignment with GRT’s high standards of quality and timeliness.


Required Skills and Experience
  • Educational Background: A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing). Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Research Expertise: 2+ years of experience in research management, with a strong emphasis on both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Experience in social research methods, such as ethnography and community studies, is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in statistical tools and software (e.g., SPSS, Q, Excel). Experience with social media analysis tools is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present complex data in an actionable and audience-friendly manner.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Proven ability to design customised research solutions addressing specific client objectives and challenges.
  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Adaptability: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ethical Knowledge: Familiarity with research ethics and best practices within the market research industry.
