Role

10Pearls is looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to design and build responsive, high-quality user interfaces using modern frontend technologies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, performant, and user-centric web applications while adhering to best practices and UI/UX standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex end-to-end application features, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using C# (.NET Core) and integrate them with modern front-end applications in React.

Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Deploy, monitor, and manage applications using Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.

Own the overall code quality across backend and frontend, enforcing best practices such as CI/CD integration, code reviews, and secure coding standards.

Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical direction and business objectives.

Identify and address technical risks early in the development of lifecycle, proposing effective mitigation strategies.

Embrace a consulting mindset by translating business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and best coding practices within the team.

Continuously improve team workflows, development processes, and system performance through innovation and feedback.

Stay current with emerging technologies within the .NET, React, and Azure ecosystems to enhance technical capabilities.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.

Frontend Development: Expertise in building responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React/Vue.

UI & Responsive Design: Strong hands-on experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility.

Tooling & Build Systems: Practical experience with frontend builds tools and bundlers such as Webpack or Vite, including asset optimization.

Version Control: Proficiency in Git for source control, with experience in pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews.

Testing & Quality: Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and familiarity with testing UI components and user interactions.

Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze and improve frontend performance using tools like Lighthouse, focusing on performance, accessibility, and best practices.

Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills; experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Best Practices: Strong commitment to clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend code following modern UI/UX and development standards.
