Job Description Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: Hyderabad
Summary This is an exciting time to be part of Genesys Conversational AI Business Unit as we are innovating with speed and scale. You will be a key contributor to create the best cloud-based experience solution focusing on AI and providing an amazing end-to-end experience. As a part of the Conversational AI team, you will help us build Genesys’ core conversational AI capabilities and features spanning, but not limited to, chat and voice bots, information retrieval, Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and document understanding to power the next generation of Genesys products About the Role We are looking for problem solvers to help us build the next-generation platforms, products and services. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, researchers and product managers on microservices and event-driven architectures. You will have an opportunity to work as a part of a team that does practical research, contributes to the development of new features, identifies technical risks, and finds alternate solutions to practical problems Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5+ years industry experience with product development
• Proficiency in Python programming and understanding of OOPs principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing REST APIs using frameworks like Flask.
• Exposure to AWS / Cloud services and a good understanding of Cloud development fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze and solve performance issues at scale.
• Consistent application of clean code principles
• Curiosity and eagerness to explore new algorithms, application areas, and tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• A team player with a positive work ethic

Desirable Skills

• Solid understanding of search engine concepts and experience with tools like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Experience in front-end development with expertise in a modern Javascript framework like Angular, React.
• Intermediate knowledge of Jira and Version Control, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.
