Tired of pretending AI is just a sidekick? We're looking for an engineer who's ready to make AI the engine, not the accessory. If you've already figured out how to ship production-grade features faster with Copilot, GPT-4, or your own LLM toolshed, this is your arena.

Most software teams still treat AI like a glorified autocomplete or let it rot in experimental branches. At Trilogy, AI is a co-developer from day one. You'll lead the buildout of intelligent reporting products that transform fragmented financial data into sharp, predictive insights without waiting on analysts or pipeline updates. You're not building dashboards; you're weaponizing data for business decisions.

This is not a traditional feature factory job. In this role, you'll take a loosely scoped idea, turn AI agents loose on it, refine your solution fast, and ship confidently and repeatedly. The job is 60% product feature development using AI-native workflows, 40% surgical defect analysis and resolution using automated tools and structured debugging systems. If your commits are bug-free, regression-proof, and backed by thoughtful test coverage, you're doing it right.

You'll be joining a lean team where every engineer owns outcomes, not just outputs. The bar is high: scalable designs, elegant code, and a fast, fearless pace of iteration. If you know how to think with AI, build with AI, and debug with AI, then apply now. You'll be doing the most interesting work of your career.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Delivering new product features, designed and implemented using AI development agents.
  • Diagnosing and resolving defects using automated tooling and structured debugging workflows.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Writing code from scratch without leveraging AI assistance
  • Spending days in meetings discussing features that could be prototyped in hours
  • Maintaining legacy systems that resist automation
  • Creating traditional dashboards that only visualize historical data

Senior Software Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Rapidly iterate and develop an AI-driven software reporting solution

Basic Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code
  • Experience working with frameworks such as Langchain or langflow
  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) in day-to-day development tasks

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience building custom AI agents or LLM-powered applications
  • Background in financial data analysis or reporting systems
  • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
