We are actively seeking UK tax accountants with a proven track record in practice, known for their ability to meet deadlines and provide transparent, comprehensive reports to management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust understanding of UK accounting and financial practices, coupled with proficiency in relevant accounting principles and a solid grasp of both personal and corporate UK tax brackets.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities

  • Tax production, filing, and correspondence with clients and senior management
  • Management accounts production and financial statement preparation
  • Resolving bookkeeping queries and liaising with clients
  • Value-added Tax (VAT) returns preparation for a client portfolio
  • Year-end financial accounts preparation
  • Approval/preparation of Corporation and Personal Tax Returns
  • Debtors and Creditors reconciliation
  • HMRC dealings and analysis of financial statements
  • Tax planning for individuals and limited companies
  • Expertise in XERO, QuickBooks and TaxCalc software

Core Requirements

  • Corporate Tax Experience: Minimum of 5 years in UK corporate tax compliance.
  • Professional Qualification: ACCA Qualified.
  • Communication Proficiency: Strong professional communication skills.
  • Technical Competence: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
  • Analytical Prowess: Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
