What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- Lead the team of site SHE resources in the respective BU
- Partnering Country GM to run the Central SHE Committee and driving SHE agenda across the country organization
- Support deploying the global / regional SHE strategy, policy and standards in sites to achieve excellent sustainable results
- Interface between global expertise platforms and site delivery teams
- Following up the SHE performance indicators and ensure reporting regular monthly and quarterly internal and external reports on time
- Supporting and guide functions to implement SHE requirements
- Developing, deploying & implementing plans to improve safety performance of the sites
- Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s offshore training and SHE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.
- Support building technical capabilities necessary to ensure safe operations.
- Driving safety risk assessment to work with sites to develop and implement SHE strategy and improvement action plan
- Working with regulatory bodies on ensuring the factory meet all local, national, legal and Unilever standards on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
- Supports following SHE budget.
- Supporting the preparation of safety incident reports, conduct incident investigations and complete necessary corrective actions.
- In order to increase SHE awareness among the employees using all visual or written communication channels.
- Supporting maintaining full compliance with all Unilever framework standards and Legal requirements about SHE issues.
- Participating external and internal audits, coordinating necessary activities and informing relevant people in the organization.
- Applying risk assessments for out of Office organizations and taking necessary preventive actions.
- Supporting the internal and external crisis committees and safety committee; support serious incident investigation and analysis.
- Control all major risks ensuring there are plans and actions to mitigate impact in cases of accidents.
- Run continuous risk assessment to point improvement required in the sites.
- Deploying internal SHE audits and inspection systems.
- Performing trend analyses for accidents / incidents.
- Determining training needs and assist in delivery of training programs.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred: Industrial, Chemical, Environmental if any, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering). 8-10 years of total Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience 2-3 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment
- Analytical Thinking, Curious about new projects, Advocate to SHE, Agility, Business Partnering.
