Site Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and local building codes. The role involves close coordination with contractors and internal project teams to ensure quality, safety and timely completion of project milestones.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site operations and manage site workforce effectively.
• Verify and ensure execution of work as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Maintain records of site activities, materials and progress.
• Assist in quantity estimation, cost control, and preparation of interim bills.
• Ensure adherence to Pakistan Building Code and local authority regulations.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, and contractors for technical and progress-related matters.
• Oversee quality control and safety implementation at the site.
• Report daily progress and highlight potential issues to the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: BSc/BE in Civil Engineering from a recognized HEC-accredited university (minimum GPA 3.2 preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a construction or consulting firm, preferably involving supervision of multistorey buildings.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Pakistan Building Code and local regulations.
• Experience in estimation, billing and quality control (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in RCC frame structure and finishing work
