Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement environment strategies for DBT Cloud and Snowflake across development, testing, and production stages.
- Establish environment-specific access policies and permission structures for both DBT and Snowflake.
- Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within DBT Cloud and Snowflake to maintain secure and efficient access.
- Ensure least-privilege access practices are followed for both platforms in alignment with security standards.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for DBT and Snowflake using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Perform routine Snowflake database administration tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide ongoing technical support for DBT and Snowflake.
- Document and maintain best practices, configurations, and workflows for DBT and Snowflake.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience with solid exposure to DBT.
- Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Working knowledge of integrating DBT Cloud with Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure identity governance.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake administration and database management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
