Role Overview:

Talent Trellis is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to elevate our brand visibility and engagement across social platforms as we establish ourselves as a premier customer support partner for SaaS, software, and IT companies. This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing social media strategies that align with our brand voice and resonate with our target audience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various social platforms, capable of driving engagement, and skilled in creating a cohesive brand narrative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives.
    • Identify trends and key themes that resonate with our audience, particularly within SaaS, software, and IT sectors.
    • Set clear, measurable goals for each social media campaign to track and drive growth and engagement.
  • Content Creation and Scheduling:
    • Create engaging, relevant, and consistent content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
    • Collaborate with the Content Strategist/Creator and other team members to develop and repurpose content tailored to each platform.
    • Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule across platforms.
  • Audience Engagement and Community Building:
    • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
    • Build and nurture an engaged community, encouraging interactions and discussions.
    • Identify and engage with industry influencers, potential clients, and partners to expand our network.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and posts.
    • Prepare monthly reports summarizing social media performance, growth, and engagement metrics.
    • Use data insights to refine and improve future social media strategies.
    • Brand Representation and Tone:
      • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, adhering to the companys tone, style, and messaging guidelines.
      • Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall brand messaging and campaigns.
    • Stay Current with Trends:
      • Keep up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continuously refine our approach.
      • Experiment with new formats and features (e.g., Reels, Stories) to maximize reach and engagement.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience managing social media platforms, ideally within SaaS, technology, or customer support sectors.
    • Strong understanding of social media tools, analytics, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset.
    • Proven track record of driving engagement and growing social media following.
    • Ability to analyze performance data and make data-driven decisions.


    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with paid social media advertising.
    • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Familiarity with B2B audience engagement, especially within tech and SaaS industries.
