Software Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities

As a Software Testing & Automation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tackle exciting challenges, including:

• Crafting and maintaining test cases for frontend, backend, and runtime applications, as well as developing automated testing scripts using Python, Shell, or Batch.
• Creating and maintaining test plans for product releases, ensuring detailed execution of tests to guarantee product quality and functionality.
• Ensuring CI/CD pipeline functionality and actively contributing to scrum teams in both development and QA tasks.
• Collaborating with remote teams to meet deadlines and ensure the timely release of high-quality products.
  
  

Required Experience & Skills:

• A BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MS preferred), with 1+ years of experience in Software Testing & Automation, Web Application Development, or Embedded Linux Development.
• We value strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or JavaScript, along with hands-on experience in test automation using open-source frameworks. In-depth knowledge of complex web applications, Linux OS, and software development methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency using Selenium and Avocado as test frameworks, with expertise in Embedded Linux Development and Web Application Development.
• We consider experience of working in an Agile environment, with proficiency in GitLab CI/CD, Shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced, remote teams and meet deadlines.
  
  

A Plus !

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test plans with an emphasis on maintaining detailed documentation.
