Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and analyzing requirements from stakeholders to understand basic user and business needs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and provide feedback on proposed solutions.
• Contribute to the design, coding, testing, and documentation of software solutions under guidance from senior engineers.
• Investigate and resolve minor software-related issues, ensuring smooth user experience and system functionality.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and stability.
• Assist in maintaining and upgrading existing software systems as needed, ensuring security and compliance with best practices.
• Learn and stay updated on new technologies and tools to enhance individual productivity and team efficiency.
• Take initiative in asking for guidance and mentorship to grow technical skills and contribute more effectively to projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in software development, demonstrating familiarity with coding standards and problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Node.js, and angular.
• Willingness to learn system monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
• Strong eagerness to improve analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and web systems is advantageous.
• Ability to manage time effectively and take initiative when faced with new challenges.
