Software Engineer (Backend focused)

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge web applications, handling everything from backend to frontend for a complete end-to-end experience.
• Integrate powerful APIs, connect third-party services, and build scalable, high-performance backend systems that drive the core of our clients’ businesses.
• Collaborate with our creative UI/UX designers and frontend developers to implement modern, responsive interfaces.
• Develop robust backend services with Node.js, while managing SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that aligns with ByteShifted’s high standards.
• Deploy and manage applications in the cloud using AWS, Google Cloud, and other modern infrastructure tools.
• Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate closely with the team, troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack.
• Engage in code reviews, help mentor junior developers, and continuously improve our technical approach.

Who You Are:

• You are an expert in Node.js, building API-driven, scalable services with a deep understanding of backend architecture.
• You possess strong frontend skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js are a plus) and understand how the full stack integrates.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data is managed efficiently.
• You are experienced with Git and comfortable with CI/CD pipelines.
• You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• You have worked with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools for deployment and scaling.
• You are a problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments and takes ownership of your work.
