SR. DESIGNER, CIVIL (LAHORE, PAKISTAN)

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Sr. Designer in Civil with expertise in drafting for Transmission & Distribution Substations and Power Stations projects. Responsibilities include preparing quality drawings according to client standards, utilizing advanced drafting software, and ensuring compliance with QMS requirements. This role involves leading and mentoring a drafting team, managing project documentation, and meeting deadlines with high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate, high-quality drawings aligned with project and client standards, using advanced drafting tools.
• Manage and mentor a team of draftsmen, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Oversee drafting documentation, maintaining compliance with QMS and project requirements.
• Draft the drawings meeting drafting standards, quality and schedule requirements.

Key Skills:

• Ability to draw projects as per the requirement in line with given instructions.
• Perform the required design tasks within the allocated time respecting the deadline with quality output.
• Strong working knowledge of Micro station/ Building Designer/AutoCAD and 3D drafting tools.
• Full knowledge of project filing system and working knowledge on document management system.
• Be passionate about drafting.
• Good communication skills, both in presentation and documentation with command in English. Acquaintance to Arabic would be an advantage

Qualifications and Experience:

• B. Tech/DAE Civil (bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology)
• 10 up to 20 years of drafting experience in T&D projects
