Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who not only brings deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation but also excels in clear and proactive communication. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between engineering, QA, product, and support teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, smooth deployments, and a strong DevOps culture across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Lead and manage CI/CD pipeline development and optimization (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand project requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
  • Drive incident response and root cause analysis with clarity, transparency, and follow-through.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and deployment runbooks.
  • Implement DevSecOps best practices: integrate security into CI/CD workflows.
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
  • Communicate technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering role.
  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to explain complex ideas in a clear, concise, and engaging way.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have:
  • Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA).
  • Experience with security tools and practices (e.g., IAM, Secrets Management).
  • Prior leadership or mentoring experience.
