Sr. Product Designer

Role Overview

Apollo Group is a revenue-positive wealth management business committed to building intuitive, modern wealthtech solutions for clients.

As our Senior Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design process for Apollo Group’s digital products from research and discovery through to polished, build-ready UI and engineering handoff.

You will play a pivotal role in creating seamless, user-friendly experiences, developing a scalable design system, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions that transform how clients engage with their wealth.

Role Responsibilities

• Translate business and user needs into clear user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Design polished, build-ready UI in Figma, including components, tokens, and redlines for handoff.
• Establish and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library.
• Conduct light user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate quickly.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure smooth implementation and consistent user experience.
• Provide QA support during development to maintain design integrity and quality.
• Advocate for user-centric design and help shape Apollo Group’s overall design culture and processes.
  
  

Role Requirements

• 5+ years in product/UX/UI design with a proven track record of shipping web applications, including at least one product taken from concept to launch.
• Strong experience creating and managing component libraries, tokens, and responsive web design systems.
• Proficient in auto-layout, variants, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows, design data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, and forms.
• Comfortable designing for environments where trust, compliance, and clarity are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with client onboarding flows, data visualization, scheduling systems, or messaging/document-sharing features.
