Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the internal audit team, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes to assess the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies.
- Analyze audit findings, identify trends, and prepare detailed reports summarizing results and recommendations for management.
- Facilitate discussions with department heads to address audit findings and develop corrective action plans.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in internal auditing to enhance audit methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, ACCA, or CMA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of internal auditing standards, regulations, and risk management practices.
- Proven experience in leading audit teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in managing sensitive information.
