This position is responsible for ensuring quality controls at supplier premises

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed supplier inspection visit of all processes and document any improvement required
  • Ensure consumer safety and quality at all unit operations of suppliers
  • Ensure testing and inspection of products is happening as per UL signed off specs
  • Ensure supplier is consistently able to achieve desired quality results
  • Help identify key problematic areas of supplier and work with their representative to plug in gaps for smooth operations
  • Perform RCA of any rejection along with supplier representative and ensure CAPA implementation as per plan agreed with suppliers
  • Weekly governance of actions and update UL team (factory quality, procurement, R&D and GTM quality) on the improvement or support required
  • Ensure zero EA/EB incidents from suppliers
  • Ensure specs compliance as per PLM and reflection of same in COA and actual testing results of supplier
  • Ensure post processing, storage and transport of material is safe and not contributing to any cross contamination


Requirments:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Science.


Minimum Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience


Job Related Skills:

  • Good QA & QC knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Basic warehouse operations knowledge


Generic Skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good analytical and Decision Making skills.
  • Ability to diffuse tensions and cope with the challenges.
