Role Description

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to join our dynamic team. This on-site role is responsible for administering and optimizing Windows and Linux systems. As a System Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage system solutions to ensure high availability, robust security, and optimal performance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional IT teams to automate tasks, enhance system documentation, and support our infrastructure’s strategic growth. Reporting to the Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering and Risk Management, you’ll be instrumental in delivering measurable improvements in system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience managing Windows and Linux environments.
• Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and Linux distributions like CentOS or Ubuntu.
• Experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently.
