Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the architecture, design, and deployment of both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise across traditional datacenter infrastructure and leading public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on design/deployment skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in delivering secure, scalable, and resilient IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Active Directory, Exchange, and virtualization environments.
• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of on-premises infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization).
• Drive adoption and implementation of public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Define hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, ensuring interoperability, security, and scalability.
• Act as the technical authority for infrastructure solutions, providing guidance to Operation and project teams.
• Mentor team members and build technical capabilities within the IT organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee migration initiatives from on-premises to cloud and optimize hybrid deployments.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives for new cloud and infrastructure technologies.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements in all designs.
• Drive infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring best practices are followed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant discipline
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud solutions and managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service, with at least 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in on-premises technologies, including:
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Active Directory and identity management
• Storage, and datacenter operations
• Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), including:
• Cloud architecture and landing zones
• Networking, security, and IAM design
• Cloud-native services
• Experience with hybrid cloud design and cloud migration strategies.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and enterprise IT operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to write architectural design documents or review design documents provided by others.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring/observability platforms (SolarWinds, Datadog, etc.).
• Experience in large-scale global enterprise environments.
• Certifications such as: ITIL 4, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or equivalent.
