Job Title: Telecommunication Analyst
Location: DHA Phase 5, Lahore, Pakistan
Shift Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
Job Overview:
Are you experienced in managing and optimizing telecom systems, especially VoIP platforms? We are looking for a Telecommunication Analyst to support our US-based clients by maintaining, analyzing, and enhancing voice and data communication systems. This role focuses on ensuring efficient, secure, and cost-effective telephony operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune telecommunications systems including VoIP, PBX, SIP, and call routing
- Analyze call metrics, usage reports, and billing data to identify performance issues and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure all telecom systems comply with security and operational standards
- Support the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of telecom hardware and software
- Assist in VoIP migrations, system upgrades, and implementation of new communication tools
- Handle escalated telephony issues from help desk teams
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain service quality and resolve escalations
- Work alongside IT and infrastructure teams to ensure integration and operational continuity
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of telecom systems, processes, and assets
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of experience in telecommunications or IT networking (US-based support preferred)
- Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, PBX systems, and unified communication platforms
- Hands-on experience with tools such as RingCentral, Cisco, Avaya, 8x8, or similar platforms
- Proficient in analyzing telecom data (call logs, usage patterns, cost reports)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA Voice) preferred but not mandatory
- Project experience with VoIP migrations or multi-site deployments is a plus
