- To manage overall sales and operations of assigned bakery outlets in an efficient and effective manner under the general guidance of COO Sales and Operations.
- To constantly make efforts for sales growth and business development;
- To recommend strategies for institutional sales, with a focus on the sale of special cakes and Live Baking.
- To assist COO Sales in establishing, monitoring, updating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures of sales and operations of assigned bakery outlets;
- To be responsible for efficient sales staff management in the assigned branches, conduct Job Training of newly hired staff;
- To meet assigned sales targets with a special focus on sales growth under the guidance of COO sales and operations;
- To establish, monitor and effectively utilize customer profiling data to enhance sales growth, and customer retention and maximize customer satisfaction and send the report to this effect every three months to COO sales and operations;
- To establish, monitor and implement an intelligent ordering system for bakery outlets to place orders in a manner that JIT (just-in-time) rule is observed and minimize wastage and returns in close coordination with branch managers;
- To prepare, monitor and update staff shift duty rosters in coordination with COO sales and operations; and to rotate shift duty staff outlet as and when required under intimation to COO sales and operations;
- To be responsible for cash reconciliation with sale transactions of outlets on a daily basis and report it to COO sales and operations in writing, stating that cash stands reconciled or otherwise;
- To be responsible for petty cash reconciliation on a daily basis and report it to COO sales and operations;
- To initiate performance evaluation reports on the prescribed format of staff working at assigned bakery outlets in case of annual appraisal as well as the termination of the probation period in coordination with branch managers and send these to the concerned COO.
- To conduct daily routine visits to assigned bakery outlets and also conduct surprise visits at odd hours, generate and send required reports to COO sales and operations, and maintain a log book of routine and surprise visits.
- Coordinate and oversee the recruitment process for sales staff at all levels, including planning and execution.
- To work for team-building, keep the team motivated and in good spirits for providing excellent service to customers and also retaining the sales team for longer periods of time.
- To pay special attention to on-floor training on packing, maintaining hygiene, workflow and courteous customer service to sales staff working at assigned bakery outlets.
- To send stock reports, wastage and return reports on daily basis to COO sales and operations.
- To be responsible for over or under-ordering of the bakery as well as miscellaneous items.
- To do any other job assigned by COO, Managing Director and/or the CEO.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and measure Sales / performance.
Tech-savvy with a focus on implementing technology solutions to enhance marketing efficiency.
Experience in corporate sales and brand building within the corporate sector.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
