This role is an excellent opportunity for aspiring developers to gain hands-on experience while contributing to impactful projects. The hired employee will be based at the Contour Software Karachi office and work as part of the resource center, collaborating closely with the division-based R&D department to align with Gladstone’s high standards and innovative practices Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and develop RESTful APIs for internal and external clients in an Agile environment
• Write unit tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality code
• Identify product impacts and evaluate implementation options
• Perform hands-on development to contribute to high-quality software solutions
• Test and review code for technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and functional compliance
• Consistently meet deadlines for product release timelines and complete assigned tasks on time
• Report daily development activities and progress to relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with the team to define and agree on task estimates
• Follow established software development processes and standards
• Participate in experimentation and research to stay updated with modern tools and technologies
• Take responsibility for planned and assigned task lists

Qualifications: Essential:

• Experience in software application development
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming in a Microsoft environment (.NET framework, C#, Entity Framework, etc.)
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using C# in a .NET environment
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Familiarity with modern IDEs, particularly Visual Studio
• Exposure to Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in version control tools like SVN or Git

Desirable:

• Experience with Angular (version 6+)
• Exposure to a DevOps environment
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes
• Relevant industry certifications
