Job Description

• Transform raw footage into engaging, story-driven videos optimized for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, YouTube).
• Apply modern editing trends, transitions, effects, and motion graphics to create content that feels global and premium.
• Adapt edits to suit international audiences, particularly Canada and US markets.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to bring creative concepts to life through video.
• Maintain brand consistency while experimenting with fresh, trend-led styles that resonate with target audiences.
• Optimize all videos for different social media platforms, ensuring best practices for hooks, pacing, captions, and formatting.
• Ensure high-quality exports with polished sound design, color grading, and finishing for a professional final product.
• Manage timelines effectively and deliver edits on schedule without compromising creativity or quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Video Editor in a similar industry.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, and After Effects.
• Strong sense of visual design, including color, typography, and composition.
• Excellent communication skills for understanding requirements and explaining design choices.
• A portfolio showcasing storytelling abilities and technical skills in video editing.
• Understanding of the latest trends in video editing, graphic design, and digital marketing.
• Experience with social media short-form videos.
• Experience with international clients is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work under strict deadlines.
• Creative mindset and keen attention to detail.
