Our team is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic media department. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity and an eye for visual storytelling. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the directors vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, cohesive content.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other team members to understand project needs and deliver results.
• Add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance video quality.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Work closely with producers to manage all post-production activities, from editing to final delivery.
• Stay updated with advancements in video editing and graphic design techniques.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with 3-5 years of editing experience.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut).
• Strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Video Production, or related field.
• Certification in multimedia development or video editing software preferred.
