About the Role:

In this role, you would be given the critical responsibility of managing the growth of My Telenor app in order to help Telenor make its customers’ life easy and simple. This also feeds directly into the ambition of Telenor becoming a digitally savvy company, dedicated to providing convenience to its customers.

Your Impactful Goals will include:

  • The job role would entail work with a lot of analytics in the digital ecosystem.

  • Your Impactful goals will include: You will be required to deliver a growth plan for MyTelenor app.

  • In addition, you will also manage data analytics for My Telenor app eco-system & other digital channels. Apart from this, you will be responsible for growing the digital recharge ecosystem by working with the different digital wallets and partners.

Your Typical Day will look like:

  • You will be responsible for entire Customer Lifecycle Management of the MyTelenor App (Churn, New user, Rejoiner)

  • Work on user upgradation from existing profile to enhance recharge and revenue

  • Use traditional telco channels such as SMS, IVR, etc. and digital means, like Push notifications, in-app messages, in order to increase uptake and establish a strong dialogue with the customer.

  • Manage end to end data analytics for My Telenor app eco-system & other digital channels.

  • Implement custom tracking methods to gain insight into users’ profile, behavior & GSM usage

  • Utilize digital marketing spend for maximum uptake on installs and explore other organic channels for new installs stream

  • Prepare business cases for approvals of new and existing products

  • Prepare deep dives on features, promos, base management

  • Understand customer payment needs and convert them into Digital channels using Easypaisa MW as well as payment gateways

  • Increase overlapping payment use cases and bring key use cases into MTA to convert it to a super app one step at a time

  • To build, manage and maintain complete ownership of all the Digital Channels being offered to customers. These channels include all MyTelenor App /Website and Zero Redirected Portals.

  • Formulating & Executing the Digital Channels strategy

  • Formulating the new feature rollout plans with the Product team to help drive better engagement for end users

  • Identifying and exploring new initiatives for MyTelenor APP to driving engagement

  • Formulating & Executing the Digital Channels strategy including its role in payment processing (FS and ADC Channel Partners), Digital Products and division as well as B2C

  • Complete portfolio ownership on ADC and EP channels (what to promote and expose to these channels)

This role will give you exposure to Product and Segments, digital products, Marketing, Analytics, Channel, Digital distribution, and Growth Hacking domains. You can potentially grow in roles within Digital Products, Digital Marketing, Segments, and Pricing.

What we're looking for:

Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in Marketing or Computer Science or Mathematics or Data Analytics and/or an MBA in a similar background
Work experience:

  • Experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is a plus

  • Demonstrated history of conducting quantitative analyses that have driven valuable change or optimization in a business context

  • A Certification in Google Analytics will be a huge plus

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:

  • Proficient in MS Excel and SQL for reporting and analysis

  • Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work on tight deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders throughout the organization at all times

  • Good commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate competence in data analysis and reporting

  • Leadership Skills

  • Good planning and organizing skills

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal & written)

  • Teambuilding skills
