Position Overview:


Reporting to Manager Finance & Grants, the Finance Assistant will provide administrative support in execution of smooth financial operations of DOPASI Foundation.





Major Responsibilities:


The Finance Assistant's primary duties and responsibilities are as under:



  • Check bills and invoices before payment to ensure documents are accurately completed and approved with clear and specific charging notes; and ensure that expenses are submitted and processed as per Dopasi foundation policies and procedures.

  • Make sure that all supporting documents are signed and attached with payment voucher, before making any payment.

  • Prepare Payment Vouchers: Bank payment vouchers, Bank Receive vouchers, Cash Payment vouchers, Cash Receive vouchers, and Adjustment entries vouchers-GL and exchange fund to other currencies.

  • Maintain General ledger GL every day and save it to Dropbox.

  • Responsible for Scanning and Archiving all Documents in a timely manner and according to the foundation mechanism

  • Monthly reconciliations of People Soft Cash and bank accounts with the bank statement and cash book

  • Participating in physical verification of field activities of partners.

  • Assist Finance Manager in Checking expenditure reports and Vouchers for local partners and Capacity building for Partners and regular review of their reports and supporting documents.

  • Assist Finance Manager with Audit preparations and visits.

  • Supporting Program staff for Distribution of Cash.

  • Managing records related to every deposit and disbursement.

  • Provide tax deduction certificates to vendors & employees on demand.

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.

  • Assist Finance & Grants Manager in the preparation of donor reports, budgets, and budget variance analysis.

  • Act as a liaison between b/w Finance Department and internal/external auditors during periodic audits.

  • Supporting the Management with projects and tasks, when required.

  • Any other related tasks as requested by Line Manager.


Required Qualification:



  • BBA/MBA Finance with 02-04 years of relevant work experience.

  • ACCA/ICMA Intermediate with 02-04 years of relevant experience.


Working knowledge of below programs is also mandatory for this post:



  • Microsoft Excel.

  • QuickBooks.

  • FBR portals
