The opportunity

EY’s Rapid Innovation practice supports audit engagements across the MENA region both remotely and through travel to MENA offices.

The role will be based in our Karachi center of excellence and will support client engagements across the MENA region.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior member of the Audit Professional Practice Group (PPG) you will perform assessment of client acceptance and continuance, using EY’s online tool.

As a Senior member of the Audit Professional Practice Group (PPG) you will perform assessment of client acceptance and continuance, using EY’s online tool. You shall also manage the global rotation tool, to monitor compliance with Global Policies on Independence with respect to Partner and Firm rotation and will provide support to MENA region in implementation and subsequent compliance with ISQM 1 standard.

Moreover, you will also support MENA region in learning initiatives and will engage in other quality initiatives throughout the year. Actively establishing internal relationships and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities for EY will be essential, as well contributing to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll escalate issues as appropriate.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  Strong academic record, including a bachelor’s degree or professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA


• At least four years of professional experience in external audit

Ideally, you’ll also have

  Track record with a leading international audit firm
