A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Leading a team of 12, responsible for complete operational buying and IMPEX (imports/ exports) operations of the company.


• Responsible for developing strategies for multiple spend categories to the tune of $25Million. Managing and prioritizing procurement activities across these spend categories to effectively deliver value to the corresponding Business Units and Functions.


• Taking a business partnering approach, advise/consult with BU/functions, based on market insight (e.g., price development, material/service innovations, processes, etc.) and ensure procurement strategies are aligned with business objectives.


• Drive and facilitate major projects that require cross functional teams’ alignment and sponsorship from senior management


• Drive the implementation of the procurement best practices and ensure continuous compliance with procurement process guidelines.

• Has successfully developed team towards driving efficiency and effectiveness in their relates spend categories
