Finance Officer

Position Title: Finance Officer

Reporting To: Manager Finance & Operations

Salary: Up to Rs.60,000/- per month

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of vouchers.


• Maintenance of general ledger in daily basis.


• Prepare cash and bank reconciliation reports.


• Process project salaries.


• Responsible for classification, allocations and recording of financial transactions as per financial policies in QuickBooks software.


• Responsible for working on withholding taxes.


• Responsible for the compliance of procurement and financial policies.


• Coordinate with Programme and HR-departments for payments.


• Payment disbursement of short-term consultants according to the contracts/ToRs/Scope of Work.


• Prepare financial report of related project if required.


• Responsible for record keeping of the office.


• Responsible for coordination with auditors to provide any supporting document.


• Execution of any other task assigned by Manager Finance & Operations, Team Leader and Principal Consultant.

Qualification and Experience:

• ACCA Qualified.


• At least 2 year of relevant work experience.


• In depth knowledge/experience of accounting cycle.


• Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability and cultural sensitivity.


• Must be proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks.
