Product Manager Deposits

Strategy and Planning

• Assist in driving the Retail Products P&L in line with CPBB Pakistan strategy, legal and regulatory requirements

Product Development & Management

• Assist in driving Product innovation and development initiatives with Group Product to meet/ anticipate needs of customers across Personal, Preferred and Priority Banking segments.


• Work with segment teams to develop and launch cross-product bundling propositions for deepening customer relationship and brand loyalty.


• To develop, design and manage Debit Card product features that meet client’s desired requirements and increase bank’s share of client wallet.


• Assist the Product Head in driving the Debit Card P&L in line with CPBB Pakistan strategy, legal and regulatory requirements.


• Drive the debit card conversion initiative.


• Work with Marketing on product marketing and branding.


• Work collaboratively with other business functions to enhance business opportunities through cross-sell and to resolve cross-functional operations and service issues.


• Keep abreast of market competition, industry practices and best practices to constantly improve on overall business performance


• Monitor and review financials on a monthly basis in order to take steps to improve CTB NII and NFI


• Review regular deposits MIS to identify trends in portfolio movement and track against targets.


• Active involvement with Learning & CB academy in terms of development and execution of training programs to optimize sales and service.

Product and Process Governance

• Manage compliance to Global PPGs & approval and compliance to Country Addenda.


• Ensure management of activities in the Retail Product unit in compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.


• Identify and recommend ways to improve the end-to-end process for the retail deposits product suite with focus on quality in delivery and cycle time.


• Ensure appropriate and adequate documentation is in place for process actions and is responsible for achieving and maintaining a satisfactory audit rating.


• Assist all other related functions to ensure compliance with applicable money laundering prevention procedures.


• Ensure that product and customer pricing is approved in line with delegated authorities and defined procedures.


• Ensure that the customer complaints referred to Retail Deposits products are resolved in a timely manner
