What is Product Manager- Video OTT Platform?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Video OTT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle of our video OTT platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, content, marketing, and operations, to define and deliver the best possible video streaming experience for our customers.

What does Product Manager-Video OTT Platform do?

• Develop and execute the product strategy for our video OTT platform, including defining the product roadmap and vision, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and working with the development team to deliver new features and enhancements.


• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the video OTT industry.


• Define and manage the user experience for our video OTT platform, including developing wireframes, creating user journeys, and implementing a user-friendly user interface.


• Collaborate with the design team to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the video streaming experience.


• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that features are delivered on time and to a high standard of quality.


• Monitor key product metrics, including user engagement, retention, and satisfaction, and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product direction and priorities.


• Partner with the content team to develop and curate a compelling library of video content that appeals to our target audience.


• Work with the marketing team to define go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotion, for new and existing product features.


• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the platform, including managing service-level agreements with third-party vendors.


• Serve as a product evangelist both internally and externally, presenting the product to customers, partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Product Manager- Video OTT Platform at Jazz?

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the video OTT industry, consumer internet products, or high growth startup.


• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.


• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven product development and decision-making.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Experience with UI/UX design, including wireframing, user journey creation, and user interface implementation.


• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio.


• Familiarity with video analytics tools such as Conviva, Nielsen, or Adobe Analytics.


• Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methods to optimize product performance.
