Job Purpose
The key objectives of a trainee chemist are to attain a set of targets pertaining to new product development, product improvement, value creation, and sales/plant support, all while following the guidelines provided by the Senior Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out laboratory work covering a range of technical projects in full compliance with all safety and work processes and procedures.
- Plan experimental designs for problem analysis or prove hypothesis in relation to product complaint or manufacturing process improvement.
- Provide technical support to other internal functions such as plant Operations, MKT on NPDs, and Sales on sales support.
- Propose ideas for laboratory work involving new product development, product improvement, value creation, processes & procedure improvement, etc.
- Implement the HSES plan as set by Technical Lead
- Manage the formulations in SAP
Experience
- Fresh graduate with a positive attitude or a maximum of one year of experience
Education
- B.Sc. hons or M.Sc. in Chemistry
