Network System Engineer

Nextbridge Pvt Ltd is looking for a Network System Engineer in one of its three offices based in Johar Town, Lahore.

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Location: Lahore (Onsite)

Requirements:.

• Medium level user in Linux/Unix operating system (knowledge of BSD systems is a plus)


• MySQL replication knowledge is preferred


• Monitoring of remote services – Strong Troubleshooting skills


• Experience in managing Webhosting control panels, such as (Cpanel, Virtualmin, webmin, apache, nginx, reverse proxy config, haproxy , certs update etc)


• Good Risk assessment qualities


• Knowledge in virtual infrastructure using VMware ESX/ESXi, Proxmox servers


• Concepts about Active directory and replications


• Knowledge in backups management using bash scripting and third-party tools


• (Veeam)


• Strong understanding of DNS configurations and concepts


• Security and Server hardening experience

Additional Skills:

• Understanding with network operations including, firewalls (Mikrotik, Fortinet, Sophos), VPN, point to point tunnels and routing


• Email Server Handling


• Certifications in Linux/Unix would be a plus but not required


• Excellent English written and verbal skills


• Preferable Trainings/Certifications


• WS CSAA (AWS Certified Solution Architect-Associate)


• NSE1/NSE2 (Network Security Associate)


• ICSI | CNSS (Certified Network Security Specialist)
