Responsibilities





You will be responsible for providing support to the Administrator in all operational matters, meeting the volume and revenue targets, implementation of renovation and expansion plans and compliance to quality standards






Specifically you will be responsible to:







  • work closely with Clinical Heads and Head Nurse and effectively coordinate with all clinical departments and support services to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain appropriate service standards

  • extend help to all patient queries regarding billing, clinical summaries, medical reports and purchase of medical accessories

  • visit all admitted patients daily to ensure their comfort and satisfaction and follow-up to resolve issues and provide timely feedback regarding the rounds to the Clinical Heads

  • study service issues by collecting data, conducting analysis and making recommendations for improvement

  • initiate dialogue with different personnel and departments to resolve issues and to review inpatient and outpatient performance in order to improve service standards

  • provide operational oversight to strengthen administrative and management functions and ensure that all issues are dealt promptly and effectively

  • work as “Administrator On-call” on holidays and after working hours. If required, visit the hospital during official off hours to address issues requiring immediate attention

  • handle patient complaints, deal with irate patients and deal with crisis situations in the most professional manner

  • ensure that complaint and incident handling procedure is well understood by staff and patients, and the data is timely reported

  • ensure high level of patient-focused orientation among the staff to ultimately facilitate provision of quality health care services.







Requirements






You should have:



  • a Master’s degree, preferably MBA, ACCA, MBBS or equivalent

  • minimum 5 years of related work experience, having served at least 1-2 years in hospital management

  • good knowledge of ambulatory, diagnostic and inpatient services

  • good knowledge of employee relation techniques

  • good communication and interpersonal skills

  • the ability to multitask and work in a high pressure environment

  • good computer skills, especially MS Word and Excel

  • problem-solving skills
