BAT PK IS LOOKING FOR BUSINESS SUPPORT EXECUTIVE

SENIORITY LEVEL: Non-Management

LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan

PURPOSE STATEMENT

BI DevOps Apprentice will play a key role in performing maintenance, data validation, troubleshooting and coordination required to drive operating excellence for existing dashboards (PowerBI).

Additionally, this role will support DevOps manager to maintain CI/CD pipelines.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust and efficient PowerBI deployment pipeline, as well as ensuring the reliability, governance and security of our PowerBI production systems.

Additionally, this role will be working closely with the development team in identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks. This role will be a client facing role, require high involvement in hypercare, and change request management.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 
  Proven track record in maintaining Dashboards (PowerBI/ Tableau) with multiple data sources and complex architecture (AzureBlob, PowerBI Data Flow, Sharepoints)


• Strong coordination with Business SME to coordinate and follow-up on mapping maintenance and house cleaning


• Support DevOps Manager in maintaining artifacts, sprint backlogs, and work items in AzureDevOps


• Provide support in creating user guide documentation


• Perform diagnostic on existing excel reports, develop solutions, perform implementation and monitor validation processes to ensure data integrity


• Define and maintain internal processes and quality standards documentation to ensure process controls and audits are up to date and aligned to BAT standards

• Contribute in the development of SDLC, Project Governance Files and Templates


• Build data governance checkpoints and contribute in building Operating Model

• Effectively manage multiple stringent project timelines in fast paced business environment

• Continuously strive to improve current tools and methodologies improve analysis of information

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 
  Degree in Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Analytics or related field


• At least 1-3 years proven track records in report maintenance and excel automation


• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written


• Comfortable with numbers and good analytical sense


• Azure DevOps Certification/ Hands-on experience


• Strong Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, and Resouceful Mindset


• Experience in using direct query with Database Infrastructure i.e. Snowflake, Azure Blob


• Candidate with PowerBI, including integration with PowerApps and PowerAutomate are preferred


• Hands-on Developing Experience with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerBI, Sharepoints, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Excel Macro, PowerQuery) would be preferred


• Experience in being part of agile team and ways of working

Desirable Requirement:

• 
  Good Understanding of Data Structure, Transformation and Architecture


• Exposure to Alteryx, Dataiku, MicroStrategy would be a plus


• Create proactive and effective stakeholder engagement at all levels to maintain good relationships
