Intern - Business Intelligence

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Intelligence Intern to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes. You will work closely with our Business Intelligence team, assisting with data collection, analysis, visualization, and the development of actionable insights. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the field of business intelligence and its practical applications in a real-world setting.

Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering relevant data from various sources, including databases and spreadsheets.

Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to conduct data analysis using statistical methods and tools. Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.

Help create informative and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Excel, Etc. Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner.

Collaborate with the team to develop actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Assist in identifying opportunities for business improvement and optimization.

Assist in monitoring and ensuring the quality and integrity of data used for business intelligence purposes.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, and business stakeholders, to support their business intelligence needs. Collaborate on projects and assist in ad-hoc analysis requests.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with data.

Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, QlikView.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Prior experience with data analysis or business intelligence projects.
