The opportunity

EY’s Rapid Innovation practice supports audit engagements across the MENA region both remotely and through travel to MENA offices. The opportunity is to assist the organization in meeting its digital audit initiatives to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the audits across the MENA region, you will be part of our center of excellenace in Karachi, Rapid, Innovations.

Your key responsibilities

As a member of the digital audit team, you will perform coaching, onsite and off-site training, and provide feedback and guidance to MENA audit teams in the areas of Digital Audit, MENA Robotics Process Automation (RPA), EY Smart Automation and other digital tools.

In addition, you may also be asked to participate in various digital initiatives such as Nearshore Digital Collaboration which includes overseeing and reviewing the digital work performed by the nearshore team members before discussing with the onshore audit teams to ensure the correct application of Digital GAM.

As part of your coaching, you will also help audit teams identify internal control matters and business improvements in the form of client insights/management letters.

Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) on digital audit and automation matters, you may be asked to participate in various UATs and perform any other audit transformation tasks as requested by the MENA regional digital implementation team.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A strong academic record, including a bachelors degree, or a completed professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA


• At least six years of professional experience in external audit, with a big 4 audit firm


• Strong communication skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Track record with a leading international audit firm
