  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.

  • Proposal Creation: Create persuasive proposals and pitches tailored to clients’ requirements, highlighting the value proposition and unique selling points of the company’s offerings.

  • Client Communication: Initiate contact with prospective clients, respond to inquiries, and schedule on site/ online meetings or calls to understand their needs and present the company’s products or services effectively.

  • Market Research: Conduct research to understand market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to stay competitive.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain a positive relationship with existing clients and strive to secure repeat business from them.

  • Achieve Targets: Meet the set revenue targets.

  • Documentation: Keep records of all meetings, contracts, and client communications for future reference.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, new bidding platforms, and evolving best practices to improve the process continually.


  • Proven experience as a Business Developer, Business Development Manager, or in a similar sales/business development role.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, and business development best practices.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and contributing to business growth.

  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to create win-win solutions for both the company and clients.

  • Strong networking abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain valuable relationships with clients and partners.

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
