Job Purpose:



The Area Development Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the development and growth of a designated area. This includes implementing strategies to increase market share, sales, and profitability while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Area Development Manager will also be involved in team leadership, training, and collaboration with various departments to achieve overall business objectives & KPI’s



Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Planning:


  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the assigned area to achieve business objectives and targets.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.



Sales and Revenue Growth:


  • Drive sales and revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies and initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ensure SOS, Displays & assortments as per the direction.



Team Leadership:


  • Lead and manage a team of sales and business development professionals.

  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance and skills.



Customer Relationship Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.



Market Expansion:


  • Identify new market opportunities and potential clients within the designated area.

  • Develop and execute plans to expand the company's presence in the market.



Budget Management:


  • Develop and manage budgets for the area, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.



Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to achieve overall business goals.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.



Reporting:


  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.



Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving targets and objectives.

  • Ability to travel within the assigned area as needed.
