The purpose of this position is to provide support to conduct workshops with key stakeholders including planners, policy makers and implementers on lesson learned and document the best practices and key learning during the pandemic. The consultant will develop a comprehensive report on learnings during pandemic and future applications for vaccinations in adult group.


Jhpiego has been engaged to develop a comprehensive report on learnings of best practices, challenges and adaptation of learning to strengthen routine immunization and healthcare services. This position will support to document the lesson learned and best practices during pandemic and carry forward the best practices to strengthen RI and vaccination in adult groups.


  • Support programme team to conduct literature review on global and regional pandemic lesson learned.

  • Plan and conduct workshops with planners, policy makers and implementors involved in developing and implementing COVID-19 policies.

  • Develop tool kits to collect the relevant data and to conduct KII and FGDs with policy makers, implementors and stake holders to identify best practices, lessons learned and future preparedness.

  • Support team to plan and conduct survey of vaccination sites (public/private) to identify models that include screening for chronic diseases for example useful for future adult preventive primary health care needs and strengthening RI

  • Develop comprehensive report for pandemic lesson learned, best practices, missed opportunities and preparedness for future response

  • Carry out any other activities deemed appropriately by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Science, advance public health degree will be a plus

  • 7-10 years’ experience of communication, report writing and conducting key informant interviews with policy makers.

  • Atleast 5 International Publications in peer reviewed journals

  • Experience in similar capacity with good understanding of roles of government, partners and donor agencies during pandemic will be a plus

  • Proficiency in English and strong report writing skills

  • Knowledge of health information system

  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), MIS, HIS

  • Ability to rapidly analyze and integrate diverse information from varied sources

Duration: The tentative duration of consultancy is 6 months from commencing of consultancy.

Payment Schedule: Payment will be processed based on satisfactory deliverables.
