Job Description


The Admin and Logistics officer for the Education Resilience Activity (ERA) Project will play a pivotal role in supporting the project staff,



  • Managing office supplies and equipment.

  • Handling correspondence, emails, and phone calls.

  • Scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.

  • Organizing and maintaining files and records.

  • Assisting with budgeting and financial record-keeping.

  • Coordinating travel arrangements for staff members.

  • Providing administrative support to various departments as needed.

  • Overseeing inventory management, including ordering and replenishing supplies.

  • Managing warehousing and storage facilities.

  • Planning and scheduling transportation for goods and personnel.

  • Implementing procedures to optimize logistical processes and minimize costs.

  • Working closely with vendors, suppliers, and transportation providers.

  • Resolving logistical issues and addressing any delays or disruptions.

  • Liaising with internal departments to coordinate logistical needs.

  • Communicating with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and shipping companies.

  • Providing updates on logistical activities to relevant parties.

  • Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Identifying logistical challenges and developing solutions to address them.

  • Responding quickly to unforeseen events or emergencies that may impact operations.

  • Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Implementing safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel and assets.

  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance.


Qualification and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in administration and logistics, with a strong understanding of standards and practices.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for professional interaction with team members and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management and data analysis.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
