Accountant

Our client Prime Alley Technology is hiring an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for an international business environment, primarily serving UAE and Gulf-based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online, accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, reconciliations, expense tracking, and reporting. The role also requires professional English communication skills for client coordination and payment follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Prepare and update client invoices in QuickBooks Online
• Maintain SOA, payment records, and reconciliations
• Follow up with clients for outstanding payments via email and other communication channels
• Track OPEX, routine expenses, and accounting records
• Prepare aging reports, Excel reports, and account summaries for management
• Draft and manage quotations, agreements, and account-related documents
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing, service changes, and account matters
• Respond to client account-related queries in a professional manner
• Support VAT-related documentation and accounting records where required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online is mandatory
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international market
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Invoicing and reconciliations
• Expense/OPEX management
• Aging and reporting
• Good command of MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience dealing with UAE / Gulf clients will be preferred
• Knowledge of UAE VAT filing and VAT returns is a plus
• Experience in the UK market and knowledge of UK corporate tax support will be an added advantage

Qualifications

• Master’s degree / 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or relevant field
• CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent qualification will be preferred
