AI Video Manager

Responsibilities

Educative is looking for a creative and technically savvy AI Video Manager to lead the production and distribution of AI-generated video content across our channels.

This isn't a traditional video editing role. We're looking for someone who sits at the intersection of creative storytelling, AI tooling, and content strategy — someone who can take a dry theorem, a complex formula, or a little-known scientific fact and transform it into a visually compelling, scroll-stopping video that makes people stop and think.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on pushing creative limits, finds inspiration in the worlds of math, science, and beyond, and has a passion for crafting visually compelling AI-powered videos that entertain, inform, and inspire.

As an AI Video Manager, you will:

• Use AI video generation tools to concept, prompt, and produce short-form educational videos that transform complex or mundane topics into visually engaging, digestible content for social media audiences.
• Develop a deep fluency in prompting AI video tools to get high-quality, on-brand outputs — knowing how to iterate, refine, and push the tools to their creative limits.
• Collaborate closely with the content team to receive topic briefs and ideas, then take full ownership of translating those into fully produced AI-generated videos ready for distribution.
• Bring an artistic eye and creative instinct to every piece of content, always finding new ways to make abstract or technical concepts visually surprising and shareable.
• Schedule and distribute content across all accounts, keeping each one active, relevant, and growing.
• Partner with the content team during ideation to help shape topics and angles that lend themselves well to AI video treatment.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh, unexpected creative approaches to recurring content themes and finding new visual languages for familiar subject matter.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI video generation and enhancement tools such as Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora, or similar platforms.
• Strong prompting ability — you know how to communicate with AI tools to get the output you're envisioning and how to troubleshoot and iterate when it falls short.
• Demonstrated creative and artistic sensibility with a knack for finding compelling visual angles in technical or abstract subject matter.
• Experience managing content calendars and scheduling tools for social media distribution across multiple accounts.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Solid understanding of Instagram best practices, short-form content formats, and what drives engagement and retention.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, staying calm, organized, and adaptable under pressure.
• Collaborative and team-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to take a brief and run with it independently.
• Receptive to feedback and always looking to push creative output further.
• Passionate about educational content and the idea that learning should feel like discovery.
• Comfort experimenting with new AI tools as the landscape evolves — you're not attached to one platform, you're attached to the best result.
• Background in education, science communication, or edtech content is a plus.
• Experience with traditional video editing tools as a complement to AI workflows is a plus.
