Area Operations Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational activities of multiple branches within an assigned area to ensure efficiency, regulatory compliance, portfolio quality, customer satisfaction, and achievement of business targets in line with the bank microfinance objectives. Supervise day to day operations of all branches within the assigned area. Ensure adherence to the bank’s operational policies, procedures, and internal controls. Monitor branch performance and implement corrective actions where required. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal audit requirements, and AML,CFT policies. Address audit queries and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
