The Division

The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of journal entries for month-end close.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and related reports.
• Understanding of International accounting standards such as IFRS-15 and IFRS-16.
• Investigate and resolve intercompany differences.
• FX revaluation postings.
• Assist with the preparation of revenue analysis reports (Deferred Maintenance, Run Rates, and Accrued Income) monthly.
• Quarterly disclosure reporting and templates.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with ad hoc project/analysis as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Understanding of accounting software, preferably Great Plains.
• Proficiency in English and MS Excel.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Finalist, part-qualified professional qualification (ACCA/ICMA or similar), or a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
