Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Projects Officer to support the planning and implementation of our organization's programmes, projects and activities. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely execution of initiatives aimed at advancing our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and effective implementation of PILDAT projects and activities, including capability-building programmes, virtual and physical seminars, research and publications.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day activities of specific projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in the advertising of programmes and activities on digital and print media platforms, including content creation for advertisements, social media posts, and website updates.
- Facilitate the flow of essential information among company teams, including design and IT teams, to ensure smooth and timely project progression.
- Provide project support across various initiatives, including research and writing, assistance to the Project Manager in organizing organizational activities, development of project proposals, liaison with political and legislative actors, media, and state institutions, and preparation of progress and other reports for partners.
- Support in organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and meetings to promote the program and its objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of political dynamics, policy development processes, and the broader socio-economic landscape.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent research, communication, and writing skills.
