Our client PostEx is hiring a Associate Data Engineer in Lahore.
We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and Data Warehousing to build, optimize, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions and data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and maintain data warehouse solutions.
* Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
* Build and maintain data pipelines.
* Design dimensional data models (Star and Snowflake schemas).
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance.
* Monitor and optimize database performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
Required Skills
* Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, query optimization).
* Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and dimensional modeling.
* Experience with Snowflake.
* Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL).
* Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
* Basic Python scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 1+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
Nice to Have
* Experience with ClickHouse
