Job Description

OM Solutionz Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our fast-growing technology team. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as SQAE.

Key Requirements

• A good understanding of the overall software development process.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and methodologies to identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Coordinate with the concerned developer / Project Manager for issues of high priority/severity issues.
• Actively participate in bug-tracking meetings to re-create issues in time.
• Must be good to create the test environment with respect to the required testing.
• Good understanding of different testing strategies.
• Familiar with the project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana and Clickup.
• Familiar with Postman for API testing.
• Strong communication skills.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Work to identify, record, document and track bugs.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases.
• Execute test cases and analyze results accordingly.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products/projects to meet client expectations.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Design and verify test cases using functional requirements and UI specifications (non functional requirements).
• Should Be able to do necessary documentation required by project manager i.e. QA status report and sprint.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
